About
Right now, I have the privilege of working as the creative director for o2ideas, an awesome mid-sized corporate communications and brand relations firm in Birmingham, Alabama.
I rose to the ranks of creative director through the copywriter route, and I’ve been doing that job for about 2.5 years now. In that time, I’ve discovered a love for the business side of the agency that I never knew existed. I read management books, write business proposals and will even be in the June 2009 edition of Harvard Business Review. In fact, my presentations have made it to the front page of Slideshare.net, and I’ve been contacted by Insightory.com to have two of my decks featured on their site as well. In my spare time, I present thought-leadership decks to AdFed, PRCA and other organizations. And when I’m not doing that, I try to read, hang out with my family and write whenever possible. Right now, in fact, I am in the last quarter of Atlas Shrugged, by Ayn Rand. And, yes, I started reading it before it was mentioned in the press every news cycle.
